Butterfly Breakthrough
Shooting Stars streak across the sky before they die.
Before the Sun burns out it will be a shooting Star.
I was laying on my back, on the warm, dry, sandy beach, minutes ago. It’s now just after midnite and the sky is unclouded and dark with a thousand Stars visible. There is no city light pollution here on this Island. That’s why the Stars look so bright and so many.
I remember being presented with an idea in elementary school.
That humans would die out when the Sun finally burns out. It might sound silly or unscientific. I was a smart student. A sharp listener. But I got sick and scared from this idea for days. And then again years later. But I’m ok with it today.
It’s no worry today, we humans have already been eclipsed by low fertility. The population may decline to only a special few that protect their genetics. I am not safe from this. Are you? So don’t worry then.
Actually we can have less fear of low repopulation. It has been eclipsed by friendly Optimus. Elon is so successful he may bring Optimus to be the new majority.
But why fear a stronger, smarter robot that can even act more empathic and enlightened than us?
Eclipsed again. It’s 2024 and even though scientists are once again evaluating if LSD is safe and may be effective treatment for PTSD, and other emotional sickness that could kill us, we are still far from mass awakening.
What is the point of living if we are not challenged, fulfilled, satiated, loved and loving?
Eclipsed again. I use LSD and believe it is the world’s most safe and effective drug. And it’s only $10 a full dose. I am myself so enlightened and self aware that I call myself the Chosen One and believe I can save the world with my Utopic vision.
Eclipsed again! Over a hundred times from ages 12 to 21. I don’t have an accurate count. I seriously considered and even planned, (although didn’t attempt), Su!.
I almost didn’t make it to this day, age 54, writing this for you. You, my chosen one, or somehow, self selected reader of my words.
